1. Obtaining Original Manufacturer's Baseline Parameters

Consult the original manufacturer's manual to obtain the recommended front and rear tire specifications, standard tire pressure, and maximum permissible load. This is the most accurate basis for matching.

If the manual is lost, check the nameplate on the machinery body and the rim markings to confirm the rim diameter and compatible tire width range, avoiding compatibility issues.

Preliminary selection based on machinery horsepower: 25-50 horsepower medium-sized tractors typically use mainstream tire widths such as 12.4-28 and 13.6-38; 50-100 horsepower models often use tire widths such as 16.9-30.

2. Matching Tire Core Parameters

Section Width and Rim Diameter: Must match the manufacturer's recommended values, such as 12-16.5. 12 represents a 12-inch section width, and 16.5 represents a 16.5-inch rim diameter. Do not mix rims of different diameters.

Ply Rating (PR) and Load Capacity: The tire's maximum rated load must be equal to or greater than the single-wheel load capacity of the fully loaded agricultural machinery. For heavy-duty transport scenarios, select higher-rated tires to avoid overload blowouts.

Structural Compatibility: For agricultural machinery operating in paddy fields, prioritize high-ply paddy field tires. For ordinary dryland tractors, bias-ply tires are suitable. For agricultural machinery frequently used on highways, prioritize agricultural radial tires to improve wear resistance and driving stability.

3. Fine-tuning Based on Operating Scenarios

Long-term operation in muddy and soft terrain: Within the manufacturer's allowed rim diameter range, appropriately select a wider tread model to increase the contact patch and reduce sinking.
