Pneumatic industrial tires are a type of pneumatic tire specifically designed for industrial vehicles. Their core advantages include excellent shock absorption, low rolling resistance, and light weight. They are suitable for low-speed, high-load operations on smooth surfaces within factory areas. Compared to solid tires, they can reduce vehicle energy consumption by more than 30%, making them the mainstream choice for warehousing, logistics, and general factory material handling.
Daily Maintenance and Safe Operation
Proper Inflation Procedures: Tires must be inflated when cold (after the vehicle has been parked for 3 hours). Strictly adhere to the tire pressure values specified in the equipment manual. After inflation, check the valve stem for leaks using the water-applied method. Recheck tire pressure monthly with a tire pressure gauge. A tire pressure deviation exceeding ±0.2 bar will accelerate abnormal wear.
Daily Maintenance Details: Clean stones and debris embedded in the tire treads daily to prevent sharp objects from cutting the tire body. Replace tires immediately when the tread depth wears down to 1.6mm. Prolonged overloading is prohibited; exceeding the rated load by 10% will shorten tire life by more than 40%.
Storage Precautions: Store unused tires upright in a cool, dry indoor environment, avoiding direct sunlight and oil corrosion. Tires stored for more than 3 years will show obvious signs of rubber aging and are not recommended for use in vehicles.
